Keep the models you care about online.
The seed daemon is a packaged service built on libtorrent. Point it at storage, choose a pin set, and it seeds those models to anyone who asks while reporting its own uptime and bytes served to the index.
The daemon is not shipped yet. It is scheduled for the first release alongside the index and signing service. Register below and you will be told when it is ready, and first if early testing opens.
- What it does
- Seeds a configurable set of repos over BitTorrent v2 with per-file Merkle verification, and can optionally expose a signed HTTP mirror.
- What you need
- Disk for the models you pin, a reachable port or working NAT traversal, and outbound bandwidth you are willing to share. A home lab counts.
- What you get
- A public operator profile with uptime, bytes served and pinned models, and a badge on every model page you keep alive.
- Institutions
- If you can commit to a defined set under an availability agreement, look at the anchor program instead.
