Hold up a defined set of models.
An anchor is an institution that commits to seed a chosen model set under an availability agreement, the way a university runs a Debian mirror. Anchors are named on every model page they keep alive and hold seats in the charter process.
- You commit
- Storage for the set you choose, outbound bandwidth, and an uptime target you are comfortable signing. Typical first anchors start between 20 and 200 TB.
- You run
- The seed daemon, a packaged libtorrent service. It reports its own uptime and bytes served to the index. See the daemon page.
- You get
- A public anchor badge with live metrics, a governance seat, and a say in the curated set and the foundation charter.
- Timing
